Introduction to New Drama *Clinic Between Two Realms Orphan Shen Zhao inherits a private clinic and an ancient bronze coin left by her grandfather. One day, while dispensing medicine by the Chinese herbal cabinet, she sneezes and cuts her forehead. Her blood drips onto the coin, completing the master-binding ritual. From then on, she gains the ability to travel between the modern world and a fictional ancient dynasty, alongside an independent storage space and danger-sensing power. She crosses over to a shuttered apothecary in a desolate village on the outskirts of the imperial capital. There, she finds General Lu Chuan falling off his horse right outside the clinic gates. He is fleeing pursuit by the Second Prince, and Shen Zhao saves him. After returning to the capital, Lu Chuan recommends Shen Zhao to the Crown Prince. At that very time, the Second Prince orchestrates an artificial plague to seize the throne, framing the Crown Prince for the disaster. Shen Zhao travels to the imperial city to help contain the epidemic and earns the Crown Prince’s trust. Later, she uncovers that the Noble Consort is slowly poisoning the Empress. Shen Zhao aids the Crown Prince in countering the Noble Consort and the Second Prince, ultimately bringing down the villainous faction. With the Crown Prince firmly secured as heir apparent, Shen Zhao chooses not to stay in the ancient realm, retaining her right to freely traverse between the two worlds. The drama closes with an open, ambiguous ending: *“The door is open, and tea is ready.”* The bronze coin hints that far greater secrets linking the two realms remain to be uncovered.
